A deck-building roguelike where Balatro meets Go Fish.

Welcome to Feed the Fish!

Steal cards from your opponents, build massive combos, and break the ocean with overpowered tackle before the deck runs dry.

The Core Loop

  • Push Your Luck: Cash in safe Pairs for small points, or risk it all hunting for "Books of 4" to trigger massive Multipliers.
  • The Catch: If you ask for a card and they don't have it, you "Go Fish." If you draw a dud from the Ocean, your Combo Multiplier resets to 1x.
  • The Economy: Win rounds to earn credits. Visit the shop to buy game-breaking passive Tackle items or one-time-use Action Cards.

Strategic Depth

  • Synergistic Builds: Stack passives like the Sloppy Net (score with 3 cards instead of 4) or The Kamikaze (massive bonus for cashing out Aces).
  • Action Cards: Use The Harpoon to rip a specific card directly from an enemy's hand, or Smoke Bomb to protect your multiplier from a bad guess.
  • Endless Scaling: Quotas scale exponentially. How long can your engine survive?

Note: This is a prototype. I want you to try and break the ocean!

Cute concept, interested to see where it goes!

Cute art, fun game! Following for updates, looks really promising.

Hey that's actually pretty fun, I kinda forgot how long I was playing for. Seems like the good kind of addictive!

Ended up with a deck full of rainbow trout, and seemed to be GG for those other fish. Bad day to be a fish at my table, that's for sure.

Turning all Jacks and Queens into Kings is degen - beat round 3 in one hand!

I'm about to spend 200 hours robbing these fish blind.

Haven’t played Go Fish in a while, but this is a fun twist. Turns out everything does work better as a roguelike. It feels a bit punishing at times, but rounds are quick enough, so never too frustrating. Best run so far is around 12,000 - keen to see how far I can push it.

Looking forward to future updates 👀
